Sowing our seeds
The official labler- we planted some cucumber seeds (read bottom to top- its a small label)
a watermelon seed or two
ta-da things planted (Cukes green peppers, hot and sweet peppers) and transplanted (herbs)
the white bin and the watermelon seeds are ready for the basement
Ollie helpfully ate goldfish while we worked.

Homemade pasta (mis)adventure
Helping mama roll out the dough for spaghetti noodles

Lily's turn
ta-da the raw noodles. notice they are a little thick, and um piled on each other. 2 things that should have raised a red flag, but didn't. they turned out more like eating mini loaves of bread smothered in homemade sauce. opps Ollie, for his part LOVED them.

Oh springtime is coming
It started to be warmish out so we bought a 1/4 of a watermelon and ate our lunch outside last week. thankfully its been getting even warmer so we've started to eat lunch outside more often.

Beachin' it
Took a little adventure this past weekend to a beach. It was sunny and almost 50 and we'd been sick all week so we were excited for outdoor time!

Donuts!
What one needs after a week of everyone being sick, is saturday morning homemade donuts!
Friday's helpers model with the proofed donuts which await the pre heating oven:

The finished butter-dipped rolled-in-cinnamon-sugar delights. oh my my my (that's just the ones we could hold off eating long enough for a picture ;) )
Ollie likes it!
