Valentines Day

Yesterday after we did a little schooling, we made some chocolate brownie roll out cookies, in heart shapes of course. Even Eliot helped and we had a really good time ;) (and ps, these cookies are so yummy..mmm)

Donuts!

What one needs after a week of everyone being sick, is saturday morning homemade donuts!

Friday's helpers model with the proofed donuts which await the pre heating oven:

How to make apple crisp together

First you use the apple peeler/corer (with your brush nearby in case you need it, of course)
sometimes its tricky (who's leg is that?)
don't forget to cut the apples mom!
make sure you are really goofy for the self timer! aka testing the ingredients

get your aprons on ladies! time to use the kitchen aid! (hey there's ollie peeking out)

pour the topping onto the apples
voila! ready for the oven!
