One month of awesome

I turned 1 month last week and got my first taste of the mama-razi annual monthly photo shoot. not to mention 3 helpful siblings all trying to get me to smile (or climb into the picture)

Apple cider pressing

We went apple cider pressing at our CSA farm, the Red Fire farm...2 weekends ago. ahem

first you grab 2 bushels of apples from the large bins
then you grind all those apples up in the grinder
passing apples to mom or dad was a favored event
then you wait for your turn with the press, try going to the pick your own aisles

when its your turn: pour in the ground up apples

then you press the ground up apples through a blanket

pressing the cider



into the jar then strained into our 5 gallon bucket
