Castle Island

Arriving at Castle Island one early april sunday. It has just what the Stevens like, ocean, planes landing, big ships coming in and out, playgrounds and a historical fort (which we haven't; been inside yet)
baby doll and her stroller were in attendance (watch out world)
Ollie was a little tired when we arrived (sacked out in dad's arms)
checking out the rocks on the shoreline
throwing the smaller ones into the sea

the playgrounds keep us happy for ages!

back here in april Ollie discovered he really likes holding people's hands (fingers) especially Brucie and Lily's!

time to go home.

The Maine friends "sleep" over

After a long day of playing, the sleeping bags and camping crash pads came out for bedtime.

Sweet sister love (H and O)
Lily had to sleep near Helena
don't they look ready to sleep?????

Brucie wanted in on the fun....he had the hardest time getting comfy...
very adorable, nice of them to be cute in "sleepover" pics
too bad this lasted for the length of pictures and a few cd songs before my kids passed out and mama Diana had to have a sleepover with all her kids in the livingroom ;) sleeping at a new house is hard

Friends at the park

More fun with Maine friends at the park (in April- hey I'm catching up ;) )

my friend Diana responsible for the other 3 cuties in the pics (isn't she lovely?)
this swing is lovely for resting in as Odessa models.

much fun was had by all!

April t-ball and friends

Back in april we picked up an official t-ball bat and ball and took it up to the park to practice

a few days later when it was less frigid, our frineds from maine came to play too!
Helena at bat
lily with her lily bat (she takes some mighty cuts..just not always close enough to the ball)
baby emmaus looks on
Odessa and Ollie were clearly overjoyed at the prospect of t-ball
later ollie tried it out too
fielding (Helena modeling the new t-ball glove)
the super t-ball player up to bat

Easter baskets

After rest on Easter it was easter bucket and hunt time

Then on to eating time with our friend Harvey and his folks. Outside dinner yippee!
sticky buns and bread
and a mighty grilled leg of lamb...mmmmm
Harvey enjoys the sticky bun

Ollie slept through easter egg hunting, so post dinner it was his turn. He caught on pretty quickly!

More Easter cuteness

More adorable posing and candids after church was over and we were back home. note Bruce opted for shorts since it was a lovely day.

The lovely Lily poses in her Easter dress from Grandma. And that hand me down hat rocks!

I have never been so jealous for the hair of an (almost) 3 year old. seriously. all I did was brush it. no joke.
